A remarkable experience, beginning of course with my surgeon, Dr.P. Jost. His kind and thoughtful preparation for the surgery made such a difference to alleviate some of my apprehension. Dr. C. Mandel my anesthesiologist, gave great reassurance and brought me through anesthesia safely and with a smile. All of the staff, especially my nurses, were kind, caring and vigilant for my speedy recovery/discharge. I cannot compliment them enough. They were ever thoughtful giving me support and hope for a smooth recovery. PT was wonderful in preparing me for getting around at home. The first night I was able to walk the 16 stairs to sleep in my bed! Even the Chef came to visit making sure I was happy with meals.Thank you to all for making this life changing experience one that I will remember with gratitude.Annette Volberding

Dr. Curtin, Allison, and his staff were exemplary to my mother! They were patient and listened to her concerns. They worked to help her get scheduled as soon as possible for her operation. On the day of surgery, they were kind and reassuring to her as well as concerned about her well-being as if she were family. We were very lucky to have such passionate and empathetic people like Dr. Curtin and his staff overseeing my mother’s operation.

There is no more caring staff than at this hospital. From Pre-Op to Departure, I was always highly informed and treated as if I was the only person that mattered. I had shoulder surgery at OHOW and I can't say enough about it. Everyone there was warm and welcoming the minute I walked in and the facility was spotlessDr. Kehoe and his staff, were fantastic. Everyone was smiling and laughing and included us. They put me at ease by explaining everything that was going to happen. Afterwards Dr. Kehoe came out and sat down with my wife and explained how the surgery went and answered any questions my wife had. The discharge nurse made sure we understood what to expect the next 48 hours and went over all of the medications. I would highly recommend them. Mark

My husband came here for shoulder surgery. Everyone was wonderful from the front entrance staff to the registration desk, RN's, Anesthesiologist and Dr. Kehoe. The staff were all smiles, laughing and making us feel comfortable. Very clean environment. I would definitely recommend.

This was not my first visit to this facility, but as in all the other visits I received excellent care. This particular surgery was going to be quite extensive and long and I was a bit nervous. The entire time from my pre-op visit to my discharge I was treated with kindness and all my questions were answered. My husband appreciated the updates he received via text while I was in surgery and once I was in post-op. I also appreciated the check in calls once I arrived home to assure I was doing well. I am truly thankful for the caring, compassionate staff that work at OHOW. It truly takes a team effort from check in to discharge to have such a wonderful and caring facility.Paula K.

Just had my L knee arthroplasty at this facility, and I could not have been more impressed. I’ve worked in healthcare for over 40 years and have seen good and bad, but this site is superb,,,from my surgeon Dr. Swenson to the Nursing and PT staff. And the cafeteria food was excellent. Highly recommended hospital!

I’ve received 4 epidural injections in my back now by Dr. Donatello. He comes into your room before the injection to explain things and asks if you have any questions. He is such an outstanding doctor and a genuinely nice and honest gentleman. You can tell he actual cares about the people he’s helping. The staff are all friendly and professional as well!

Excellent hospital! Had hip replacement done by Dr Rory Wright, one of the best. The Nursing staff and everyone else was so friendly and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Even the top Chef of food services came in to wish me well during discharge. I was only there for one day but I had some delicious homemade chicken noodle soup and a wonderful omelet for breakfast.

I work in health insurance and often hear horror stories of hospitals, surgeries, and staff. I had a refreshing experience with Dr Wright and the staff at OHOW. The environment was calm and well organized, the staff was personable and professional, and the surgery went smooth. I am confident that I was in the best hands of any option in Wisconsin for the 24 hours I was there. I'm not looking forward to more orthopedic procedures, but if and when I do need them, it will be at OHOW. Thank you Dr Wright, Nurses Jodi, Jennifer, Amy Brodus, Kelly, Liliya. I had total knee replacement the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and after 11 weeks of tough physical therapy I'm walking normally again and have no issue going up and down stairs. Anyone who is looking for any type of physical therapy, I would highly recommend this place and specially my therapist, Kevin Campion who was tough, but at the end, it was all worth it. Feb. 2023 I had knee replacement surgery. The RNs, PTs and EVERYONE else we're superb. This was not my first time at OHOW, having my right hip done about 4 years ago, right knee done last February (2022) and now left knee. Hopefully I am now done being rebuilt!If anyone is considering orthopedic surgery, consider, no, definitely consider Orthopedic Hospital of Wisconsin.

This is my second visit to Orthopaedic Hospital. I tell my friends that it is like a five-star hotel. The staff is very welcoming, pleasant and caring. My care has been nothing but the best. My experience at the Glendale Location was comforting and nothing short of amazing. The staff: from the pre-surgery staff-Char, my surgeon-Dr. Middleton, Dave-his direct staff member, the anesthesiologist- Dr. Capelli, AND ALL of the nurses were extremely caring, attentive, down to earth, knowledgeable, and just so awesome. I can’t recommend this facility enough!Dr. Middleton figured out what was going on with my knee in a short amount of time and scheduled my surgery within the following week! He called the night before and the same evening of my surgery to check on me, to make sure I was ready and to make sure I was ok after! It does not get any more professional, better or as genuine than this people! I want to thank the staff for my great experience. Keep up the great work! You all are wonderful! ♥️
