Dr Wu returned my entire life!! I shattered my right arm in a fall, and I had almost given up hope. I work with my hands in a physically demanding industry, and was thinking that I was going to go into a different direction, but under his care, I was restored to about 90% of my pre injury performance. I rejoice in my range of motion, strength and endurance every day.

I had a knee replacement done by Dr. Swenson at OHOW. It was an incredibly impressive experience from start to finish.Even their “hospital” food was delicious. A special shout out to Kelly who was my nurse for most of my stay, and Maggie from Physical Therapy. Everyone there does an amazing job taking care of their patients.Best hospital experience I have ever had!

Everyone was terrific. Friendly, comforting, competent and caring. From the greeters at the front desk to the recovery member who wheeled me out to my car, EVERY person I encountered put a smile on my face! I’m feeling very good about my experience here. I’ve now had 2 surgeries here and I’m confident that this is where I would always choose to have an orthopedic procedure performed if possible!

They got me covered from the moment I walked in the doors enrollment to discharged in all categories. I wish I was an outpatient longer to qualify for a meal. They give hospital food a new perspective, I wanted to order carryout 😋😋! I would prefer an overnight stay for observation just to be on the safe side and order and entree from there dinner menu. Always let the nurses know to wake you regardless for your scheduled medication, playing catchup is an experience I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

I wish to acknowledge Colleen who works at the OHOW Mequon Physical Therapy office. Both my husband and I have had the pleasure of meeting Colleen over 1-1/2 years ago when my husband had his first hip replacement and we scheduled PT appointments at the Mequon facility through Colleen. He had his second hip replacement a year ago and again scheduled with Colleen. She is extremely professional, outgoing, welcoming, and a pleasure to speak with. I myself am now having PT at the Mequon location and have again had the pleasure of scheduling with Colleen and seeing her twice a week. She treats all patients/clients with respect and professionalism and addresses everyone by name. I feel Colleen is a 5 star employee and OHOW is lucky to have her.

What a wonderful experience I had at OHOW! The entire staff from intake, pre and post Op, surgical staff and my overnight stay were great! My nurse and NA’s were great! I could tell they really cared about me and my recovery, did everything they could to make me comfortable. I know I missed some name but thanks Evelyn(my day of surgery nurse, awesome lady even came to see me when she was scheduled in a different area the next day, Maggie, Annette, Dea, Ursula and Angelina my nurses and NA’s and the two Lori’s in PT and OTI hope I never need your services again😂

I chose to have a local. Dr. Wu and the surgical staff were fantastic and we laughed and discussed our favorite flavor of shakes. Yet I still felt as if they were true professionals as each step was explained to me. From the time I walked in the door to when I left I was treated well and with respect.

From the moment you walk into the hospital you are treated special. I had my knee replaced and they gave amazing care and treated me like a person and not a number. The dr’s stop by pre and post op. The nurses, medical assistants, OT’s, and PT’s all go above and beyond. It’s an amazing place with amazing people. In addition, their food selection is amazing and their chef stops by to check on how the food was and asks if there is anything else I needed! Who does that??? The chef at the Orthopedic Hospital of Wisconsin!!

An OUTSTANDING facility! My wife & I call it the Pfister of hospitals. Clean, quiet, comfortable, with a staff that is SUPER helpful, always ready to serve, and with smiles!
